We are hiring Interns to join and support FalkenSteg's Corporate Finance team as of October 2025 (Distressed M&A).

- You will strengthen and expand your skills in M&A project management, investor communication, business valuation, due diligence, finance, insolvency law and restructuring in a project environment spanning various industries
Your duties
- Assisting with process management in the context of M&A transactions
- Conducting market, company and financial analyses
- Creating marketing materials related to pitches and transactions
- Preparing for meetings with investors
What we expect from you
- You have successfully completed at least four academic semesters for a degree in economic/legal studies or a comparable programme
- Previous experience from relevant work placements in corporate finance, restructuring, finance, financial and management accounting; or business development preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset (ideally, you already have experience as an Entrepreneur)
- Keen interest in business transactions and solid basic knowledge of accounting and business valuation
- Analytical and structured approach to work
- Team player, self-directed, confident disposition, flexible and willing to travel
- Commitment to excellence by producing precise work
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German (additional foreign language skills advantageous)
